After having extensive experience working as in-house digital content producer, I ventured into the agency side of communications and was brought on to the Amplified Digital Agency team as a Brand & Sponsorship Manager. Amplified is Lee Enterprises' marketing agency that partners with Brand Ave. to produce content for external clients and other internal brands falling under the Lee umbrella.

 

In my position as a Brand & Sponsorship Manager at Amplified, I specialized in creating and managing social and digital content for the Lee internal brands. After six months in that position, the company went through restructuring and I was added to the social team as a Marketing Communications Manager.

 

As a Marketing Communications Manager on the social team, I was still managing internal content for Lee brands while also coordinating, editing and producing content for 40+ B2B and B2C clients in industries ranging from agriculture, education and healthcare to hospitality, aviation and real estate. Depending on the size of the account I either edited and published monthly content produced by a 3rd party writing team or created the content from scratch. However, for every client, I was the main point of contact and strategist for all of their organic social content and campaigns.

  • Oversaw 40+ B2B and B2C domestic and international accounts across industries including aviation, education, healthcare and hospitality

  • Managed client social media accounts and executed all organic content

  • Monitored client online reputation through listing distribution services

  • Developed all branding, social and blog content for Lee Enterprise’s internal agencies, focusing on boosting brand presence across channels

  • Worked with cross-functional teams to ensure positioning, messaging, goals, deliverables, and tactics were achieved

Amplified Digital is Lee Enterprises' main producer of digital content for small and midsized business clients. The clients I worked with were mainly located in the midwest and Canada and included Custom Homebuilders, Hospitals & ER's and a Biological Seed Protectant Producer. I also worked with restaurants, senior living facilities, private medical clinics, motels and a rideshare app. Below I have included samples from the work I did with my clients in real estate, healthcare and agriculture.

Industry: Custom Real Estate

One of my real estate clients was a custom home builder in Arizona. For this account, I worked directly with the client to produce all of the copy and graphics and implemented social strategies that helped establish their brand aesthetic and tell their brand story.

My largest healthcare client was a hospital and ER located in Tucson, AZ. This was another account that I wrote all the content for because their main goal was to establish a local voice while still pushing out original content daily.

One of my agriculture clients was a Canadian-based Seed Plant Protectant Producer. Since a large part of what they did as a company was focused on research, they wanted their social content to reflect that and I determined with the client that the goal for their organic campaigns should be to inform their customers about their product and its benefits. This client worked with Amplified for their paid campaigns, website design, blog post-production and the organic campaigns I was creating. As one of our largest accounts, their organic content required me to create graphics, choose from provided assets and write the copy for each of their posts.

Amplified Ag is a branch of Amplified Digital that focuses directly on agriculture clients. While I worked with several of Lee's internal brands to create content, I was directly responsible for all of Amplified Ag's social and digital content from ideation to implementation. 

Below you will first see how the Instagram feed changed when I was brought on to establish a brand aesthetic for Amplified Digital. Under that are a few examples of the LinkedIn posts I created that were aimed more at educating agriculture professionals on how digital marketing strategies can help them elevate their business. You will also examples of the blog posts I published on the Amplified Ag website.

Feast and Field is another brand under Lee Enterprises that I worked with while I was a Brand & Sponsorship Manager. Their content focuses on exploring stories of innovative farmers, makers and chefs who are growing and producing our food and drink in communities across the country. Each week they would focus on a topic and release a new issue of profiles, tips and recipes. 

During the time I worked as their social media content specialist, I created posts that told the stories of farmers, chefs and winemakers as well as recipes and feast and field promotional posts. They had a photographer that would go out to all the featured farms, wineries, restaurants and more to take these pictures but it was me who chose the best assets for the posts and did minor edits where needed. 

The posts I have here are the ones that performed the best on their page at the time that were focused on telling those brand stories while others were more about what people could create with what these makers were producing.
