Summer 2018
I worked for SMG Venue Management at their NRG Park site in Houston, Texas as the Marketing and PR Intern during the summer of 2018. I worked with the marketing team to interact with past, present and future visitors of the park while also creating graphics for their Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts. I also served as a line of communication between the local media and the head of the PR and marketing department.
Clients I worked with included Marvel Live, FIFA, The Texans and the Houston Dog Show. The site also promoted and hosted concerts, conventions and expos.

Managed site social media accounts through digital graphic creation for daily posts on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook, increasing social media following by 300+

Managed real-time media coverage of contracted events including concerts, expos and graduations

Conducted media relations with local print, radio and television stations
Organic Social Media Content
I used Canva to create the content I posted on their social media pages. I moved from using Adobe Creative Suite to using Canva because it was easily accessible both at home on my HP laptop and in the office on the Mac computers. Some contractors provided the department with promotional photos to use in the graphics while others I had to create from scratch. Below are a few graphics I created and published across all their social media accounts as well as photos from the events themselves.
