Shortly after graduating, I began working with Filmnetic, a recently launched website that published film and television news, reviews and critiques. Working with the small team of writers at Filmnetic allowed me to combine my passion for writing with my love for film/TV. I had previously worked in entertainment journalism as an entertainment reporter for The Daily Reveille at LSU in 2018 where the content I had published varied from film/TV reviews to feature articles on local talent. While there, I grew to love writing pieces on anything that had to do with film and television. Working with Filmnetic gave me the chance to once again create content directly focused on film and television I value. I was also featured on the Filmnetic podcast where the Filmnetic writers shared their opinions on new content and breaking news in the entertainment industry. The Filmnetic podcast could be heard on Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts and Spotify.
Filmnetic underwent a relaunch in June 2021. This relaunch included the creation of updated branding materials, a site redesign and a shift in focus to the brand's YouTube channel rather than its podcasts. These YouTube videos were structured much like the podcast with topics ranging from film and television reviews to entertainment news updates and roundtable discussions. The site has since been placed on hold.

Achieved first search engine result status on Google for my Coco vs. Soul article

The Coco vs. Soul: Filmnetic Face-off piece I wrote above became the most viewed article on the site and achieved the first search result ranking on Google.
With FIlmnetic, I have also been able to join in on conversations about some of my favorite films with Filmnetics creator Chris DeFelice. Below you can watch us discuss some of our favorite time travel movies.
